1. Can I get hold of the creatures from previous subscription rounds?
The contents of previous subscription rounds will be sold through third party online stores, like RPGNow. The price will be 35-50% higher, and the content made available one month later than for subscribers.

2. I have paid the subscription fee, why am I not receiving any creatures?
When you pay the fee, you join the current subscription period, and will receive the first set of creatures (and any previous sets from the active period) by the end of the calendar month. If by then, you have not received an email containing creatures, please check your Junk-mail folder for messages from nicholas@rpgcreatures.com. If no such e-mails can be found, write to info@monstersbyemail.com and state your case. Please include the email address stated when purchasing the subscription.

3. What kind of creatures can I expect?
Though many creatures will work in Sci-Fi and Horror settings, all of the creatures are primarily made to suit a general Fantasy context. You can expect anything from undead, demons, faerie-kin, mammals, reptiles, devils, aquatic creatures, wonderous winged creatures, strange bugs, lycanthropes, elementals, golems, magical beasts, and more. I will do my best to keep it diverse and interesting. What you will not receive are simple solutions like dappled giants, dire scorpions, wart goblins, or oozy oozes, nor will you receive simple interpretations of traditional creatures. All creatures will be original concepts, though they may be influenced or inspired by the classics (like the 'Septhoron' at the bottom of monstersbyemail.com). Less than 25% and more than 5% will be humanoid creatures, and some of those will be what is referred to as playable races in RPG contexts.

4. Can I make requests on what kind of creatures I'd like to see?
All subscribers can send requests to requests@monstersbyemail.com.
Just don't expect your individual request to be fulfilled. There are many subscribers, who all are allowed a voice in this matter. The requests will of course be listened to, and they will enable me to pick up popular demand. If something interesting shows up, I might chose a specific request and dedicate a creature to it.

5. To what extent can I use the Monsters By Email creatures from my subscription in the browser game I'm creating?
If you think of these creatures as concepts only, and use them in-game interpreted as pixel-graphic style sprites, or as 3D creatures, you may use 50% of them in your game. If you wish to use them as illustrations, it depends on how easily accessed they are. Is the game free to play? Will the player come across the creatures early on in the game, or one at a time through several hours of game play? Will you use the whole illustrations, or just the heads? Please write to info@monstersbyemail.com and explain to me how the creatures will be used, and I will answer your request. In no case may you post the illustrations as they are in a game-wiki accessible to the public.

6. Where can I find the Bestiary I hear you released prior to starting Monsters By Email? Do you sell printed copies of it?
'RPG Creatures - Bestiary I' is not currently available in print, but can be picked up as a well-designed PDF eBook from RPGNow.

7. How do I attain the rights to the other 50% of the creatures?
The quick answer is; you can't. These 50% are there to set the Monsters By Email subscription apart from other products. However, to boost this project in the initial rounds, I will sell the exclusive rights to some of these creatures. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, you can sign up for the Publisher's Newsletter, by writing an email to info@monstersbyemail.com and say you want to sign up for the Publisher's Newsletter, which is free of course.

8. Are you available for custom freelance work?
Unless you represent a major game house, or a film producer, I'm probably not. But you are welcome to send me an email and introduce yourself, and I will contact you when I'm next available, to see if you still need work done. Occasionally I will find some spare time, to fill with commissions. You can always reach me through nicholas@cloister.se.

9. I purchased one of the Creature Sets from the current Subscription Period through an online store. Since I have already purchased parts of the current Period, Is there any way I can join at a reduced price?
Yes, forward your receit to info@monstersbyemail.com and inform me of the situation, and I will give you a discount.
